Blue Tit box in the Ash Tree to the right inside the gate at the Holly Guest Road entrance

In use by Blue Tits - fresh moss and feathers.

Used. Moss and tit feathers cleaned out. New staple added.

Blue Tit box in the third Lime Tree on the left inside the gate at the Holly Guest Road entrance

Slugs, snails and woodlice. Cleaned out.

Not used. Removed as tree is due to be taken down because of proximity to electricity cables.

Blue Tit box in the Hawthorn in the middle of the field below the log seat

Active bees nest - box left alone.

 

Bees no longer used so nest cleared out.

In use - fresh nest found. Used by Great Tit, old nest cleaned out. Large spider's web found.

Old Great Tit nest and egg cleaned out. Great Tit warning song heard in the area.

New nesting material.

Old nesting material cleaned out. Box removed and Tawny Owl box installed.

Woodpecker damage. Woodlice and wasp. Replaced with plated Blue Tit box.

Old nesting material cleaned out. Bad Woodpecker damage. Box replaced with a new box donated by Tesco.
